One O'Clock in the Morning
I've noticed that now that I am on vacation it seems to mean staying up much later at night but waking up at the same time in the morning. Why is that?
Anyway, I'm in Jonesborough at the moment spending the night with a girl from PCC . She knew Elisabeth much better than she knew me, but I've been having an enjoyable time getting to know her better as well as chatting with her family.
My vacation has been very interesting so far. Saturday I spent most of the day helping with the set up and tear down of a wedding. SUnday night Elisabeth and I camped out in the car because we got to the camp site a little too late to set up our tent. More on that story later.
Yesterday we camped for real at a beautiful State Park located at the birth site of Davy Crockett. We went on several hiking trails and my legs really felt that this morning when I woke up. You know, sleeping on the ground in a sleeping bag is a lot harder than I remember it being when I was ten.
Tonight - well, this morning - I'll get to sleep in a real bed and then it's on to Roan Mountain tomorrow morning/afternoonish.

hey sarah! i sure do miss you! we all missed you up in andalusia this past weekend, but i'm sure you were having a blast where you were. still, though...you and joel were gone, so the big kids were down by 2. joey and abigail are moving in.
well, call me when you are back and tell me all about it.
